  • Where are Neterra.Cloud’s data centers located?

All services are hosted in Neterra's own Tier III compliant data centers in Sofia, Stolnik, and Ruse, Bulgaria. These facilities are ISO 27001, 9001, and 20000 certified and GDPR compliant.

  • Which solution is better for high-traffic websites or applications?

For constant, predictable high traffic, a dedicated server often provides better performance for the price. For traffic with unpredictable spikes, a cloud server is more suitable due to its instant scaling capabilities. A hybrid approach is often the optimal solution.

  • What operating systems can I install?

You can automatically install a wide range of operating systems, including popular Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Alma, Rocky, Debian) and all current versions of Windows Server.  

  • Is it easy to scale the resources of cloud servers?

Yes, you can instantly scale CPU, RAM, and disk space for your cloud server directly from the control panel. The changes are applied in real-time, usually without requiring a reboot.  

  • Can I upload and use my own ISO image?

You cannot directly upload your own ISO images. However, you can choose from a wide catalog of templates, and if you need a specific image, you can contact the support team to have it added.  

  • What is the uptime guarantee (SLA) for the services?

Neterra.Cloud provides a 99.98% uptime guarantee (SLA). This is supported by a fully redundant (N+1) infrastructure and the reliability of its Tier III certified data centers.  

  • What RAID options are supported for dedicated servers?

Yes, dedicated servers support both hardware and software RAID configurations, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10. Many servers default to RAID 1 to prioritize data integrity.  

  • Is a Load Balancing service offered?

While not a one-click service in the control panel, the Neterra.Cloud team has the expertise to design and implement custom load balancing solutions for HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, and UDP traffic. Contact the support team to discuss your requirements.  

  • Do I have full (root/administrator) access to my server?

Yes, you get full root access on Linux servers and Administrator access on Windows servers. Dedicated servers also include remote hardware access via IPMI.  

  • Is API access available for automation?

Yes, a full REST API and command-line interface (CLI) are available for automating the management of servers, networking, and other resources. This allows for integration with tools like Ansible and Terraform.  

  • Can I create private networks (VLANs) between my servers?

Yes, you can configure private networks (VLANs) to create a secure, isolated communication channel between your servers, which is ideal for multi-tier application Architectures.

  • Can I migrate my existing infrastructure to Neterra.Cloud?

Yes. We also offer smooth, secure migration of your workloads from any environment.

  • What's included in the price of a cloud/dedicated server?

Compute power, RAM, Disk, unguaranteed 100MBit network and 1 IP address

  • Can I request additional IP addresses?

Yes. You can purchase or add more IPv4 addresses via the control panel or by contacting support. Limits depend on configuration.

  • Are additional IPv4 addresses included in the price?

Those are not included in the price but can be requested as an add-on.

  • How much bandwidth is included?

Standard servers are live within minutes. Complex or custom builds usually until the end of the working day.*

  • How does Neterra.Cloud ensure the security of my data?

Security is multi-layered: physical (ISO 27001 certified data centers with 24/7 security), infrastructure (Tier III compliant reliability), network (DDoS protection and firewalls), and data (encryption at rest and in transit).  

  • Is the platform GDPR compliant?

Yes, the platform is fully GDPR compliant. All customer data is stored and processed exclusively within Neterra's data centers in Bulgaria, ensuring data sovereignty within the EU.  

  • Do you offer protection against DDoS attacks?

Yes, Neterra.Cloud offers an enterprise-grade DDoS protection service capable of mitigating attacks larger than 1.8 Tbps. It protects from Layer 3 to Layer 7 and includes a monitoring dashboard and attack notifications.  

  • Can I configure a firewall?

Yes, you can manage firewall rules directly from the control panel. For more advanced setups, the managed support team can assist with configuring software firewalls like IPTABLES or Windows Firewall.  

  • What backup and recovery solutions do you offer?

Neterra.Cloud offers a "Backup-as-a-Service" solution that includes automated backups, active AI-based protection against ransomware, and Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for minimal data loss and fast recovery.  

  • Are certain ports (e.g., 25, 445) blocked by default?

Yes, to prevent abuse like spam, ports such as 25 (SMTP) and 445 (SMB) are blocked by default. You can request to have them unblocked by contacting support (with a valid reason.

  • How is the price calculated, and are there any hidden fees?

Pricing is transparent with no hidden fees. Cloud services use a pay-as-you-go model, while dedicated servers have a fixed monthly fee. There are no extra charges for things like network traffic or 24x7 support.  

  • Is VAT included in the price?
